I’ve been told by many that I should make a trip down to Lockhart, Texas to eat some of its legendary Bar-B-Que.  I’ve driven through the quaint little town before, but didn’t bother to stop.  Usually I pass through around 11pm on a drive back from Houston or Houma so lunch isn’t an option.  Last night I was channel surfing and came across the travel channel which was featuring bar-b-que.  They just so happened to be showcasing a couple of places in Lockhart.  So with nothing to do today, and needing a to get myself to a more photographic locale, I packed up my gear and my faithful companion Buddy, and headed down a winding F.M. road.  The bar-b-que and the scenes were worthwhile.  The results:

On our way over, we pulled over so Buddy could run in a plowed up field. It was lined on one side by these tracks so I took the opportunity.

First thing I noticed when I pulled to the side of the road was this brick on the side of the building.
